 Tucked in the very corner of our local cemetery are these beautiful old monuments. A grouping of 4 or 5 very old monuments are on the side of a hill and very neglected. Mother earth had long ago gotten the bodies and now appeared to be after their markers.
This very well could be the body of one of the family members poisoned by a greedy sister. The real story of, Arsenic and Old Lace, originated in our town.
Did not use a fill flash because I wanted the darker mood created with the shadows in the wooded area. Took this angle to keep the brightly lit sky from washing out some of the scene.

I like the vines on the monument, upper right corner is overexposed. Hard to avoid when taking pix on sunny days.
