5.8 is a great average but I can't believe 83rd place, much too low for this wonderful image. I agree with pinapple, maybe a dark background might have helped the bokeh, but still you made a "point". Gave you a 10.

Original idea, but not *that* interestingly executed. I'm not too fond of the yellow forground on yellow background. The background oof area is perhaps a bit harsh for my liking. A slightly above average entry on idea mostly.

Splendid feel of out of focus bacground and in focus the foreground. Beauty is not in the object but in the appearance of the objects.

An excercise in precision. I like the result. The bokeh is not quite pronounced and I wonder if a different coloured background might have helped - along with some sort of back lighting. It would be nice to make the subject pencil stand out a little better too. 7.
