 Every fun-loving woman indulges in makeup on a regular basis! Ithough I'd portray that with this vibrant mix of textures and color. All I did was set two sheets of plain white paper on on sheet of wax paper, then I arranged the makeup in a way I though was appealing to the eye. Finally I opened the windows and took my best shot!

This photo has been brightness and contrast adjusted.

Without the title I don't think I'd be able to figure out what this is. I think it would be stronger with lipstick or makeup cases. It just doesn't seem to have any "subject" to focus on.

Whoa. I honestly can't understand putting all of that on your face. Anyway, it's a fun shot--great DOF, textures, and colors!

Composition was a bit muddled. With colours and shapes like this, might have been better to simplify things a bit.

Interesting idea! I like the "uniform messiness" of the powders, but I think a little too much of that liquid concealer or whatever it is was used (the shape is a little messy), and part down front (lipstick smears?) looks like fingerpaint...so it kind of throws off the symmetry. Love how the used implements are in the blurred background. Good work!

I love the abstract quality and textures here, powder, tube foundation, its really great- there are some focus issues, but overall the abstract feel pulls it through. Could be the cover of a department store brochure.
