Greetings from the critique club

Nice photograph with a message
Good use of shallow DoF
Nicely lit
Good composition

The only reason I think it scored lower than it should have, is that its taken on a bland background. A bright red background with focused studio lighting seems to do better on dpc.

I like your choice of putting the pepto bismol in the background. I think this would have been much better cropped just above the bottle. I don't think all that negative space on top is adding anything to the image. 7

Very nice! Your use of negative space at the top works well somehow - I wouldn't have thought of it! Good luck!!

One of those great captures where the blurry background tells the story.

Heh, heh I really like this on so many levels. I love how my brain is led from the yummmmm, yummm ice cream to the "oh yeah, oh no" realization of the after effects ;-) You've told a story with your depth of focus, that's for sure. Wonderful colors as well.

I like the idea, though I would probably relate more to the photograph had really spicy food been used instead of icecream. :)

Maybe background object could have be brown / blue or something connecting to foreground. Nice shot!

If the size was reverced This would work very well. I still like it.
