Here's another take on the image.

Interesting effect -- the bottom part looks a little like a watercolor, making a nice contrast with the hard ceramic surface.

Good concept. I think I would have used a more interesting object to photograph.

Wow, I thought of something like this, but I don't have all the right equipment. Well done.

I think the work you did in making this image is not quite reflected (no pun intended) in the result. The result does not quite pop as much as, say, a simple black and white detailed shadow. I think it is the white background that is taking away something from the impact. Perhaps somehow framed in black it might have leaped out at me more.

This is lovely - the soft pastelly colours are very special. My only bug would be the colour reflection on the vase itself which keeps pulling my eye right to it. Without that this would have been a 10 point shot definitely.

not a very appealing (to me) photo (flat lighting, central composition), but an interesting idea.

I like the idea you came up with for this shot since so many shadows are balck and you came up with a creative way to do something different. I think I would have like to have seen some a different angle or composition then having the vase dead center of the photo. maybe have tried standing alittle closer and a step or two the right or left so the shadows appear longer and exaggerated against the wall. just some suggestions

Good idea and setup. Seems a bit dull/washed out, would like to see more contrast, or brighter.

Very interesting effect, and beautifully composed. Are spectra really the same as shadows?
