 Just playing with those desk lamps again in the back room - getting a lot of mileage with the cheap lighting setup! No clue how well this shot will do though, score wise, but I think it looks pretty cool.

Some basic post processing - used a little vignetting in RAW, burned in the rest of the corners. Some levels and minor saturation after white balance adjustment. Sprinkle in a little contrast, USM and borders and VOILA! You have a coffee cup and sugar cubes on red poster board! (sound exciting?!) :-) Oh ya, blew a few bubbles in the coffee with a straw, just to liven it up a bit.

Fantastic red&white. Those sugarcubes are so perfectly placed, and the teaspoon just a little bit a way there. We are all so used so see cups placed for right-handed persons, this is a novelty. I really really do hope your shot does well, it sure deserves it. Framing is fine too.

great colours, lovely composition, this would look spiffing hanging on the wall in our kitchen. i'm not sure the presence of the shadows actually adds very much to the already high quality of the shot, which is why i feel compelled to limit the score to an 8. and stupid point, but i think the shape and pattern on the spoon kind of messes up the simplicity of the shot... but that aside, i think it's a great one. the lighting on this is fabulous.

Coffe? You should try italian espresso instead... now THAT is wake-up juice.
This is a nice pic. I think the sugar cubes aren't adding much to it, however I can understand why you used them.
