Fit: Clearly meets the challenge 1

Aesthetics: OK composition 1
I love the way the fly's shdow has been caught but it is lost in the vast expanse of the leaf. Maybe a tighter, portrait crop would help?
Technical: Technically OK 1
It seems as though the area of the leaf where the fly is is out of focus and there is a lack of DOF around the fly
Wow: Has some impact 1
Brilliant idea that would have scored higher if the DOF, focus and crop had been tighter

would be much better if there was only the shadow of the fly - you really should have got rid of the shadow in the bottom corner somehow. Otherwise its a great photo
