Interesting catch. The main subject is nice and sharp. But you have some very overexposed areas which distract from the main subject. Overexposed means, you need shorter time to balance the background a bit and maybe use a fill flash for the foreground.
I would be affraid to go near it. It looks quite spooky. Again, not bad for your second challenge. Keep shooting. You'll get there. |

whoa..To help a bit I would suggest that the pic be a little less exposed with the back gorwn done less harsher and make the foreground more highlighted though the object makes its own impact without any changes done |

This is a small image, maximising to 640 on the long side would really help this image with creating a better impact for the viewer. |
