Extreme closeup of a "forest" of parsley in my garden. No really thrilling greens presented themselves to me this week, and I was too busy/lazy (take your pick) to seek them out.

Processing is with levels, hue/sat, and selective color, all to increase depth. Image is heavily cropped to get *some* sense of composition from the parsley thicket. Gaussian Blur was applied (0.7) followed by serious USM to get a very slight glow effect.

Well, I'm on my laptop and can't figure out why your mode score was 5. I think this is well done and original. The processing is perfect.

lovely green - neg. space balances this composition & considering the subject - foto unequivocally conveys remarkable scale to a forest canopy ...... fyi vote - 7.

Like Zardoz said below, it would have been really cool if there was something beyond the greens and inside that hole. My eyes too, were drawn there but found nothing. Love the sharpening - couldn't have done it better.

I would have preferred it if the âhole / gapâ was off centre. My eye is drawn straight to that gap but is disappointed to find nothing there. If you could have found a position that placed something in the gap, an interesting branch or whatever, then I would have gained the rewarded my eye was seeking.

Nice macro, not so sure about the empty space right in the middle, but still pretty good.

The greens look a bit oversaturated.

A little too much on the brightness.
