 I asked my wife to participate in this photo, and she agreed after I told her that the only thing I need from her is one hair.
Setup: tomato-basil soup, my wife's hair - washed (for the easily upset), some tungsten lights from all directions, a slave flash with a snout diected at the hair, 550ex bounced off ceiling.
Used wine bottle (darn good wine, the bottle is empty here - we'll see what the photo will look like tomorrow when I look at it again) and the glass to frame it on the sides. Lifted the hair with my right hand, and fired the remote with my left. Cropped, resized, USM 300/0.3/0 and that's it.

The only thing I'm aware of now is that it may be too busy... but I like it!

Top twenty - congrats! I wish it had done better as it is one of the few that I thought really met the challenge and it is a very well done shot!

Somehow the mood in this picture is wrong for a restaurant, something to do with the backround and lighting that makes me 99% sure you took this in your livingroom but that´s just nitpicking :) Nice shot and excellent idea, gave it a 7.

One of the few I thought really met the challenge. Very well composed. Focus is tack sharp and composition is excellent. Colors are well preserved and the scene is well depicted. I really like your placement for lighting. Certainly a hair in your soup is an unexpected find. Very well done! 10

Technically well done, and one of the few that actually meet the challenge criteria IMHO, but the image makes me feel a bit queasy. I'll give it a 7.
