 I was hoping to represent summer by capturing the feeling of heat I felt while the hot summer sun was beating down on the sidewalk.

cool pic - but I don't get a sense of season out of it.

One thing I like in this photo is the dazzling effect on the car windshield in the distance. Something about the focus (or lack thereof) detracts from the effect. I do like how long the path streches out...helps emphasize a long hot day.
