This works in a nice simple way. Wasn't sure if I liked your choice of angles as the column on the far wall (thought it was a door at first) was drawing my attention away from the shoes, but maybe that's ok...makes me look at the rest of the image. The room seems like a ballet type setup...maybe ballet slippers instead of Chuck Taylor's?

Great lighting, and you are one of the few who understands that much of the room should be shown to convey the feeling of emptiness. The shoes look too well arranged for my taste, but it's a minor thing.

Ahhhh.. "Coverse All Stars" I haven't worn a pair of those in awhile. Nice photo! I like the composition and lighting. Works well for the challenge.
