I remember this photo being one of my favorites in the challenge. I'm sure you're already aware of this, but in case not, your shadows areas are just fine. I can easily see the back wall. |

I'm sorry to say this one doesn't work for me. On my monitor I can barely see beyond the light on the floor. I didn't even notice the back wall during voting because it was so dark. I didn't get the feeling of an empty room at all. On the otherhand the doll is kind of scary. |

Hi again, good to see you entering some more challenges.
This is very macabre, good atmosphere. I like how you can just see the walls, which gives a more empty-desolate feel rather than the more common empty-"I took everything out" effect. (if that makes sense?)
I like the combination of the composition and lighting to really focus on the corner and then draw the eye out into nothingness.
You definitely met the challenge, and succeeding in creating a very atmospheric photo. I looked up Lars Raun, and boy do I like his photographs. One of the things I like about his sinmilar photos (eg //www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=4275750) that you haven't particularly emulated is the "dirtyness", kind of old film grunge, which I think would really have improved this entry. |

Composition/subject - As I mentioned during the challenge, the doll is a bit on the scary side. Kudos for the homemade part! Composition for the basic picture enhances the creepy aspect very well.
Technical - Lighting is very good - all your work is generally very well lit for the subject choice.
Meets challenge - Yes, but I think showing a bit more of the back wall would have enhanced the "empty room" feeling.
My opinion - I have to admit this isn't my favorite picture of yours but I think that's due more to the subject matter and not the photography. |

You really can't see that it is a room, as it could be anywhere... |

Hard to really tell it's an empty room. The doll is a bit scary! |

I do not feel the emptiness of the room because such a small part of it is shown. |

I like the doll, it's a little creepy, but it's what makes the photo even more interesting. |

There does not seem enough to keep the attention of the viewer. |

I like the doll, and the composition of the photo here. I find the background a little boring though. Perhaps you could have added to the empty room feel, by showing some walls to difine the confinement. Cool concept though. |
