i was aiming to make an image that popped and also played tricks on the eye.

i'm curious to see how folks feel about the composition. semi-symetric though off balance.

five ( total ) jagermeister mini bottles stacked on their sides. lit by a 550ex off camera behind the bottles. background is the kitchen wall.

processing involved converting from RAW
adjustment layers for:
selective color
brighteness/contrast
color balance
curves
levels
in the opposite order.
rotated image
slightly cropped ( very )
added border
resized
saved for web.

i think it is definately green and a decent contender for the challenge. hope you enjoy.


for the print file i went on to dodge & burn the brighter flower head.

I can't understand the position of this shot. I think it deserves being at top ten! At least, it was one of my favourites.

I really like this - not sure about the portrait vs. landscape decision though. (Presuming it was taken in landscape mode)

This definatly has the DPC "look" to it. Clean background, well lit, and new. Lovely though.

This works well, but not sure of the one bottle that is unside down, as it is a little to distracting... I really love the image though.....
