| I'm not really sure why there is an old letter on an old stump. You would think had the old letter been there for any amount of time, that the letter would be all wet and moldy and not white at all. Honestly, the letter and the stump don't really go well together at all. They just dont fit. Kind of like seeing a shoe sitting on a piece of bread. Very unusual. The focus on the stump is a little soft, but the focus on the letter is ok. The lighting on the letter though is a little bright for my taste. I think it's a little too white and almost strains the eyes trying to look at it against the stump. Overall though, I think that it definately shows something from the past, but just not really my thing. ~Heather~ |

| You should have lower the letter in the frame. Other than that I think the 'setup' should be better. It looks like the letter has been dropped there for the picture. |

I may have this wrong, but have you done any illegal moves with software? Anyhow, it doesnt matter to me.
But I'd just like to tell you that if it is digitally editted, it looks fake to me because:
The letter looks a little 'unnatural', like it's been skewed too much [causing blur too].
I'm searching for the signs of a shadow.
The exposers seem different, the ground dark and the letter very bright.
Anyhow, the background is distracting and takes attention off the main subject, the letter. Also, the whole picture could be a little sharper perhaps? |

| this has hystorical meaning to me, since I am from former Czechoslovakia. What a treasure. The image itself looks a little bit horizontally distorted... did you use a special lens? |
