it's usually so hard to get a picture of a humming bird before they fly off.
the whole picture is in focus almost perfectly.

| You caught the perfect pose here, and left just the right amount of motion blur. While a tighter cropping would work here (and be more conventional), your composition gives some context which makes the photo more attractive. |

| I tried to take some recreational picture of a hummer this summer, and you either got REALLY close or have a GREAT zoom, you should feel really pleased with this picture, you got great detail in the hummer and thats just awesome. |

| i give this one high marks just because i find it so dang difficult to capture subjects like this in focus! If they would only be still!!!!!! |

| Colors and lighting are awesome and you've captured the bird nicely. I just wish the DOF was deeper as I find the out-of-focus flowers to be a litte distracting. |
