| im so surprised with the ranking, it should be on the top ten pix. and i totally disagreed that this is out of focus..i really love the way you captured this bugs..still congrats and be proud of your submission...i really dont know about the 1 and 3 ratings. |

| Despite not liking your title or that you seemed to have used flash, I really like the pastel colors of your background and the DOF you've managed to capture here. The plant in the lower right with it's wisps of flowering is also a nice bonus, but I think the left side of the picture is lacking in subject matter and I wish you were able to balance out the two sides with some more of these flowering plants. The spots of glare are also very distracting and mar this beautiful shot and decrease the good focus you've acheived on your subject's face. |

| WOAH! COOL! 3D! Comes right off the screen! I don't know if it really captures the theme the best of all the entries, but this is probably the neatest macro bug shot I have seen short of a Pixar effect!! Hey, is that Rick Moranis in the background? |
