Oooooh. . .this IS awesome too! I just commented on one of your outtakes! I think either photo would have gotten you the strong score you got here! I've always loved these phantom see-through people in photos. They look so haunting! |

Very nicely done! Excellent interpretation of the challenge... and great job giving you the perspective of the other person with their hand on the cup! My only quip might be that I might have liked to have seen this with a slightly less busy background... especially the edge of the wall coming right out of the person's head is somewhat disturbind. Great job though and use of photographic techniques to really give a sense of the song title. -9- |

Using a new formula....
0-2 Meets the Challenge = 2
0-2 Technical Merit = 2
0-4 Interest/Creativity = 3
0-2 The "wow factor" = 0
Final score: 7 |

Exceptionally well done. Nice dusk exposure and great ghost image. Bet it was fun to do as well. |

Nice effect. How??? without blurring the person? The girl and dog in the background make the image even better because it illiminates a number of possible ways it could have been achieved without bluring them or making them transparent too. Well done. |

At first time i think that this was a double exposition. only in a second moment I understand that you have shotted across the glass. a good work, I like not the image but a very good idea and a good realization. the image show that you have researched the shot. I rate it 7. |

Composition is wonderfully done! Indeed the viewer can place themselves in the picture as we sit there at the table holding the cup of coffee/tea and look through our companion. "I'm looking through you, where did you go
I thought I knew you, what did I know" is captured wonderfully in this image. He is there but still he is transparent that we can look through him. He has no substance like a ghost we look through him and think we know him but we cannot truly 'flesh' him out. It seems we are sitting there trying to have a conversation over coffee but "Your lips are moving, I cannot hear
Your voice is soothing, but the words aren't clear". Well done, wonderful job on this one. My only critique is that it could be cropped closer because there is just a little too much background that is distracting. |

Clever idea. Maybe not the best place for taking the shot. |

NOTE.... I'm looking at the image first and tyrying to guess the title. If I can't guess, I can't give high marks :-(
10 - fantastic, got it straight away |
