My first attempt at this kind of picture ... turned out better than I expected :)

Only ONE source of light was used to take this picture, my flash unit mecablitz 44AF-4iN.

Wow Arancha!!!

Para ser tu primer intento te ha quedado genial. Me gusta mucho la iluminación contorneando el dacantador simetricamente, la composición es magnífica, el detalle del blanco partido del fondo... gorgeous!

Felicidades por el 9º puesto.

Voy a tener que ponerme las pilas y empezar a enviar fotos...

I hope you don't get comments like..."its been done".

Excellent comp, great idea even for something that has been done before, I love the lighting, I love the color against the b&w, the blacks are dipping into the abyss and the whites are blown but because of the color contrast it works, nice movement, nice lines, good job

nice photo, but it's pretty obvious u didn't really use a single light source ( I'd consider a reflector as a second one, as well as a lightbox divided by a shade)
