| Simple and sweet. Nice, subtle saturation. Effective graduated background. Good lighting, but could have done without the shadows in the centre of the flower. 8 |

Amazing. The quality of work being enter into this competition has been brilliant!
An alternative to this picture could have included more stem creating a longer, slimmer image. Perhaps even including the plant pot. This flower makes a perfect greeting card cover! |

| Something about this makes it look like a painting; perhaps the sharp definition and slight shadowing around the petals. It's an appealing effect and a very nice composition. |
