This is one very nice subtle shot! I personally love the low key lighting but understand that this is probably why it scored kinda (IMO) low not that 5.5 is all that bad. I love the way you put this on an angle. It gives it a sense of mystery! I (once again personally) also like that it's a touch on the soft side. This is kinda nice to see in an architecture challenge however, that said, it also probably had an effect on your score.
So even though I think it should have scored a bit higher cause I like it, the voters probably saw a shot that was a little too soft and a little dark and didn't give it a second chance.

This image meets the challenge of creatively capturing an interesting photograph of architecture NOT as most images in this challenge are a photograph of interesting acrchitecture! |
