This was part of a shoot of did where I totally focused on this child. I was intent on capturing the personality there fore shot completely in black and white with all natural lighting. The father was totally besotted with his fourth son....the emotion was clear for all to see.

Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.

First Impression - the most important one:
forth place ... do I need to say more.

Composition:
I like this .. the use of negative space pulls the eye into the picture well.

Subject:
meets the challene ... and does so well. Of course you have the trolls but we all deal with them.

Technical (Colour and light):
lovely use of black and white ... good defintiion of the eyes ... and lovely sharp details.

To grow its vote?:
Shoot number 3 ... that is all i can suggest then you can ribbon :)

Summary:
lovely ... emotive and just right.

coming back to comment: I so love the photos that show success in this manner.... As I study this photograph I am moved by the expression on the man's face as he peers into the eyes of the infant and receives back the adoring gaze of the infant.... yes, this is success..... and photographed wonderfully - bumping up

Beautiful! The only thing I might change was keeping the father's hand out of the foreground. It is a bit distracting. You did a great job with this shot!
