Hi all,
Thanks for all the comments. This is my first submission and I am pleased to see it did not come last :p. I know it is hard to understand why it is failure, but to get things clear, I found this moth dead in my garden, so I toom the photos just for creativity. When I saw they had Sucess and Failure for voting, I thought yes, the moth was dead so it could be classified as Failure. The comment is also symbolic since these guys have a night life, finding them in the day is hard so it had to be dead. Funny thing is, I used the 350D's stock lens which is no Macro hehe but it came out awesome. I just got a Sigma 28-200 Macro lens today, hope to get more shots like these in the future! Thanks for all you comments! Tomas. |

Nice shot, the amount of detail is awesome but I don´t really get how this relates to the theme, I gave you the benefit of the doubt though. |

Sorry, but I failed to see where this is a failure. On the other hand, I really do like the photo. |

I like the picture, I'm just not entirely sure what it has to do with "failure." |

An incredible shot, but I keep looking and looking, keep thinking from other angles, and I don't see the failure part. |

Excellent macro shot, but I don't find the failure. The detail here is superb, the depth of field is great, but the overall composition is a little bit too centered. |

This is a superb macro but I don't know what it has to do with the challenge and I don't know what the title has to do with the photo. |

How will you know if it has failed until the end of voting...7 |

I don't fully get what you are trying to do here in terms of the challenge.
Technically: Very nice photo. Great Macro shot. The photo is extremely sharp. |

Sharp macro, but I'm not sure where the failure comes in? :) |

Amazing - love your spot on focus this close and great depth - so much detail is in focus. In a perfect world I would have liked the other wing to have filled the lower left of the shot for symmetry. Good job. |
