CRITIQUE CLUB CRIITQUE

Very powerful image. While not technically *perfect,* it delivers the message in a loud voice. In deed, technically perfect would detract from the realness of it.
Compositionally, it is very well done. The eye first goes to the girl and everything she is holding, then drifts back to the man in the background.
Technically, the light is a bit harsh on her. Again, this does add somewhat to the effect of the message, but it also causes some of the white areas to blow out. The shadow on the wall is distracting to me.
Overall, I think you delivered your message well. You had a good idea, and it does indeed say "failure." (The message, that is, not the picture.)

| 9 bucks?!?! I'm in! Great creativity and a wonderful (read HOT) model! The scene plays very well together to produce a strong mood and a feeling of failure. The only distraction is the big shadow on the wall over the lucky man that just got an amazing deal. Really nice capture. |

| Like the makeup and mood in the picture, think she could have been slightly more emotionally dead in the eyes though for me to think of this as a harlot without the title but nice work. 7 from me. |

| Awesome idea for the "failure" challenge and awesome photo! :) The ONLY possible way I could think to improve the shot would be to diffuse the light a bit more so the highlights weren't quite so bright (like on the dollar bills) and the so the shadows weren't so harsh. Great shot though! |
