 and after all this time i see
the joy of life has gone from me
my face is empty, saddened, worn
my heart is broken, wretched, torn
my friends have left me, on the shore
of life eternal, evermore
to lonely be
and always flee
the demons of my mind






The photo is based on this poem I wrote. The first person POV does not mean me, just in case anyone's getting worried. :-) But, the challenge says not to photograph something and make it look like a failure, but photograph something that *represents* a failure. So I'll just say that yes, I do find something of myself in the poem.

Sorry but too dark/blurry/bluish for my taste, not aesthetically pleasing. The reason why I am saying this is I make it a rule to explain when I give low ratings, wich is what this got from me.

Interesting idea here, but noise takes away from it. Blue color works well.

the composition is very nice but the double exposure is kind of annoying.

You produced an interesting image that has a cool composition, but I have a hard time realting it to failure. I like th blue hue and the lighting is great.

I think you were using the blurriness as an added effect to being lonely, but I think it took away from the photo. First thing I noticed was two eyes on the same side.

without the title,IMO it appears to be a photographic failure,& would have fitted the challenge well, but the title killed it....5

It seems a bit blurry and grainy to me. I like the colors, but wish I could see the loneliness on her face in greater detail.
