Why the parentheses, fido? Why ruin an otherwise fine picture with an abnormally long and unpoetic title?

I like the idea, the lighting and the use of color, but I'm torn about the tilt. While this does have the flower straight and perhaps emphasizes the "still broken" nature of the vase, I think "of course it fell and broke -- it's resting on a very tilted surface!" At least for me, I think having the vase straight (and rotated a bit to show the break more) and the flower being tilted would be better.

I really like the lighting in this shot, you definately know what you are doing in that department. Not as fond of the slanted composition and angle this was taken from but it´s not bad at all, just not hitting the spot with me, something off about it that I don´t like. 7 from me.

I like it. Beautiful detail and a great high-key sort of feel to this one. Very neat idea that was very well executed. One of the best so far.

nice picture, the only thing is I would have liked the vase upright, even if the flower was leaning, I like the focus and the color, nice work

Sorry IMO, cannot see failure in this image, even the title says whoever broke the vase repaired it, the image is a very good still life, but not a falure....5

Flower/leaves seem a tad over-sharp but not enough to detract. Well done!

Brilliantly lit. Great perspective.
