Not bad for a first try. If you have PS, you can use the sharpen tool on him, ever so slightly and really make him POP. |

I like the translucence of his.... um, "butt". What a small area of focus! I need to find a coupler so I can give this technique a shot. |

This is a great first try at macro photography. Lighting is key to getting a great image. The spider seems a bit soft but you'll learn to control the focusing as you move along.
Check out the works of others and you'll learn from their techniques. I have som in my portfolio as well ;)

Nice, the colors really make this shot work. Maybe try and open the aperature on the 50mm to get rid of the vignetting on the shot. |

Nice Macro... hard to believe this is the first one :)
My suggestion is that you have talent... try to see the pictures before you take them and put some art into them... There is nothing wrong doing some basic editing, besides negative image ;) |

Great DOF. Lovely looking spider, looking at human architecture maybe to copy it for the next web! :-)

Isn't it amazing how limited the DOF gets with the doubles up lense? Still, nice job on your first try. |
