Catch-light in the eyes says peaceful, but desaturation says sadness to me. I would have prefered seeing you in full colors :)
All in all, a very good portrait mambe, very good luck :) |

you have a lovely face but unfortunately I can see the material you used for the background in this shot and I maybe would have gone with selective desat in the headwear only rather than the top also ... maybe on your monitor the background appeared dark enough that you couldnt see the creases. nice SP very lovely face :) |

Nice color. I think I would have added the eye color, too. |

Bluring the background would have helped so you dont see the folds in the sheet or just use shallower DOF |

try this- image> adjustments> selective color> black channel add black.
I might just make your background disappear :0) I like the selective desat. in this image! |

I like the colors and it's a beautiful image...the only thing I would change is ironing the creases in the backdrop - but that is nit picky. Nice self portrait. |

It's the lovely Mambe!!! Beautiful colors and clarity... wonderful desaturization on this image. Even with the color surrounding your face, your eyes really sparkle and draw the focus to them. :) |

interesting selective desat...composition isn't quite right for me...would have preferred a tighter crop, but this is a wonderful face. I look at this and think, now that's the face of a real woman...well done |

Must say that I really don´t care for the selective desat but what the hey... Nice shot other than that, like the lighting. |

I won't pretend that i don't know who this is, because I still remember the stunning self-portrait at the window. But you have done it again; I'm not usually crazy for the desat look, but in this case i feel you are making a deliberate statement (which makes me a little sad for some reason). And like the window portrait, the lighting is understated and classically beautiful. 8. |

I'm confused by your choice of desat'ing the skin tones. It doesn't make sense to this viewer...
