Good shot. I imagine lighting was out of your control so I can understand why your subject is in shadow. I think a bump in contrast may have been better. Composition is good. Smoke is good. Overall scene and capture is great.

Could only be better with the fireman wearing his fireman's hat and looking up rather than down at the ladder. Great capture!

A well captured moment. Good that we can see the smoke, but would have been even better if there were flames or embers (which I wouldn't wish on anyone's property). Perhaps if the shot had included more fire fighting equipment/uniform the message would have been stronger. Nonetheless a good image and worth a good score.
