This is nice. I wonder if a vertical format would have made this image stand out better so taht there is adequate sky in the composition.

I honestly don't think that you should have submitted this instead of the one you entered. I don't think this one is as interesting as the other one, and the crop on the top is kind of tight. Both are great shots, just that the other one (at least I think so) is better.
