definitely different...
I like contrast of the fast food with the wine, but I wish the hot dog and fries were in focus. I also like the perspective and the way the table ends...and the rule of thirds kinda everywhere. Good luck! |

Needs more DOF (or it needs to be focused on the fries. |

This looks to me more like you took this out of your oven and took a picture. As a still life I think it needs to have a more artistic look. A different angle might have added interest. |

This meets the challenge – it’s inanimate and arranged. The composition is sort of ok, but the food looks 100% unappetising. 5 |

interesting ... I just don't like the emptiness in the back... it might have been better with direct lighting and to get some mod into the picture |

The end of the table is distracting to me. Also, the food, which appears to be your main subject is out of focus. Unique idea though. |

If you wanted the food to be the focus of the picture, I would have put it on a non-distracting surface (large sheet of white paper?) and been close enough to fill the frame with it and get dead-on focus and detail. I think the light bouncing off the foil is distracting. All the space in the background (table and wall) both pull you away from your subject and the wine glass doesn't seem to fit in quite right. From what I have observed on DPC, it is always the simplest shots with the least distractions that score the best. Best of luck. |
