 Initial thoughts were to float the lenscap in milk for the contrast. I have a very cool Chinese noodlebowl used to hold the milk and provide background interest. After taking several closeup shots I pulled back and this was the result. This exposure was an accident in that the flash went off. This was advantageous in the end in that the reflection of the flash enabled the color you see in the lenscap when the image was inverted. PP included autolevels, contrast adjustment, crop, invert, saturate. The colors were quite pale after inverting...the increased saturation really made the image pop. The blue portion of the photo is my dining room table top that the bowl et al were sitting on. The grain of the wood table top gave the background some interest.

Despite its not the image of a NIKON lenscap ;) great shot and great effect. I think this one would have done great in the negative image challenge. BZ. Kudos.

I think a square crop with a little more space on top & bottom would have improved this. It seems a bit crowded to me.
