 I wanted to include one of my favorite subjects in this shot (fences) Of the few that I took, I think this one stands the best chance of a better score. Aside from the fickle points thing, I really like the way the different colors of the sky are reflected off of the cap. I made the cap stand up by sticking a piece of straw into a crack in the top of the post and leaned the cap against it.

the fact that the lettering in lumix isn't white or a color really helps in this picture, that paired with the black border, and the sharp detail earns you an 8

Sharp, crisp focus, good composition, very nice use of DOF. Nit - border is a bit too heavy.

Very nicely taken, lovely lighting and excellent composition. You make a lens cap look like an object of art.

Nice use of selective DOF, but I think more sharpness on the wooden stump would emphasize the difference between foreground and background.
