 i set up two pieces of foam board as a floor and background then set the lens cap on a waterbottle top get a close as i could and shot the pic with my d-50 i used a camera mounted sb600 for the lighting and didnot edit it.

Just a bit dark and picture size is much smaller than what is allowed. Ask in the forums if you need help sizing the picture so you take full advantage of the 640 pixels on the longest side.

You will probably get better results if you use the full size available to you.

Why so dark? If there's a levitation effect here, it's lost in the murky exposure.

Underexposed. The effect you clain is not visible due to bad lighting conditions.

whoa, this is pretty cool, I wish it were a larger crop so I see the levitation better... also a little more light and focus, but nice idea, keep up the good work
