You made the top10! congratulations. But agree with hotpasta, this should've ribboned :) but the company in the top10 sure is good.

Every time I see a crop like this I think of your work. It seems to work so well with models and still life. Very iconic.

Love those lines and choice of plating. A very eye pleasing image with nice tones and that little splash of color is perfect.

edit: Gosh I wonder who asked this one to get validated, it's a great image dont see how it could not be done in basic edited :)

btw, I've made up my mind again, this is my favorite image from this challenge. Hope it does really well. Good luck!

with all that negative space i would like to have seen all the cup and saucer, the negatice space is not adding to the image IMO

This is so soft and gorgeous. The pattern in the water is interesting and you made a good choice for crop and border. The dead white space is perfect. Great lighting. My top pic...9

very nice composition! The grey color really makes the pink shine. Wonderful idea and beautiful capture. -10

Tighter crop at top would have improved this. Negative space really doesn't add anything IMHO, but I really like it.

I like the clean lines in this but my eye is not drawn anywhere-

I like this very much. It has a great comp and contrast and is interesting to look at. You were able to retain the details in the white cup but the saucer seems a bit blown out.

I like. Wish it was milk in the cup.

it's wonderful, i am interested in the plating of the piece for some reason i thought it was a frying pan the first time through. Some would say DNMC but i really enjoy it.

Very nice. A curves adjustment would do it good and IMO, it should not be dead center.

Somehow the negative space on top works for me, did you try with the center of the flower a little more to the right or the left? Like it.

This meets the challenge – it’s inanimate and arranged. Minimal. OK 6

if you only had rotated the cup by a half degree counterclockwise, it would have been perfect. Great composition, lighting and colors! - 9

Another still life from the school of minimalism - quite a lovely one too. If I have one gripe, I think I would have preferred this if the cup wasn't cut off at the bottom. But perhaps not. Lovely soft colours. Good luck - I would hope to see this towards the front of the pack.

Clean and pretty. Love the touch of pink inside the rather monotoned saucer and cup :)

very nice image. I love the off set of it, the negative space and the simple yet effective frame. The slight colors add so much without having to smack the viewer in the face.

GREAT JOB. Hope to see you on the main page when this is over.
