This definately does fit the challenge. There is a lot of negative space here.
The darkness of the building works nicely against the blue sky. The sky works well as it appears to be a very clear day. I know you used ruled of thirds in your composition but in this case I think if you had centered the point of the roof and kept it to the bottom third it might work very well. As it is I feel like we are missing part of the artifacts on the building.

This sacred space benefits from the negative space, as it implies that there is more here than just a temple. Lighting is a bit harsh to me, but wonderful composition. |

Brilliant building. And all the detail captured sharply.
But being a perfectionist, when you hold up a ruler to the line on the arc then trace it upwards, you will see that it is not align with the two circles of the roof decoration. I am so sorry, but I cannot help but notice! However, great image still! |
