You know...I really like this shot! The colors and textures are very appealing to me. It stretches my definition of environmental portrait a bit, but there's a lot that I like about this photo.

Environmental portraits are generally of people for personality feature stories. I like the lighting but it doesn't fit the challenge.

I like that this is outside the box. The composition, clarity and lighting are great. My only little issue is the right side. I think it might work better if it were more in focus to bring the eye in. Nice photo !
