 practice until your blue in the face.

i had a hard time making my idea come to life. had it been someone else things would have been a lot easier... i did however paint my face with the wall paint we used in the room the photo was taken in. i waited a while for the paint to partially dry before shooting the image. hopefully i won't get sick ! i had to use the 300d because i don't have a trigger for the 10d yet.

lots of masking, curves, levels, hue/saturation is all that was involved, and a bit of burning. had to save it at 83% to get the file size under 150K...

Very interesting! The blue face is quite ingreguing, but I'm not sure the finger-frame in necessary. Great shot though!

You know, the cheesy thumb frame is a good idea, but I would like to see more of your hands, and see them in focus.
