 Put my lenscover on a DVD disc. Used auto levels, increased saturation, USM and cropped it so the circle on the cap looked like C. It is going to be fun how many see this.

Greetings from the Critique Club!!!!

Technical The DOF is almost perfect and the focus is spot on. I can really see all the small detail in the lenscap.

Lighting The lighting is great. I can see the word Canon real good. I just wish the whole word was in focus.

Composition Compositon is good. You have compoased it to make it an interesting shot. Very nicely done.

MY opinion is that you have a very good image of a lens cap. I like the detail and the lighting and the nice colors the sorta blueish color is a very nice color to look at. You havbe executed well in my opinion.

Fantastic depth of field, the only slight distraction is the light blue edge to the shadow. Great shot though. 8

Great clarity and perspective, Dof could include the front edge of the cap but that's being picky. I still give a 10.

Yep, it's a lens cap alright. Since creativity was part of the challenge, I generally gave higher scores based on creativity. This is a very nice photo, I like the lighting, the color balances, as well as the focus. Because of that I gave it the highest score of the "Just a lens cap" photos. Well done!

I love the color and the sharpness within the DOF. Narrow DOF adds as well. The crop with the Canon going to the corner is very nice.
