 Shooting through a 20 gal. fish tank. I had success without the tank light on and just a desk lamp and some ambient window-light. The tank is covered but I lifted half to get more light (too much info?) I recently cleaned the tank but also reduced the crud on the inner walls of the tank using a credit card ... used a little diluted simple-green to clean the outside. When posing, I had to be careful not to breathe out of my nose which caused condensation and blur because I am was close to the glass. As far as the fish .... I never even planned on having a fish in the shot and my angry look is partially a result of my irritation from him getting in front of the camera. The position of the tail turned out to be serendipitous and blends into my skin naturally without photoshop. The only real editing here was removing a few spots on the fish tank and skin and also removing the signs of the corner of the tank on the right. Used noise ninja overall and whitened up my eyes and teeth just a smidge using selective color layer. PS: YES ... I'm a pisces :P

terrific visual feast, right down to the tailfins encircling your eye. Instead of predatory, you actually look like you're in existential pain from being fragmented into all those reflections. 8
