Nice portrait; the washed-out quality of the equipment is strange though, especially in a challenge that seems to require the interaction with the subject's environment.

I love this because it looks like it's straight out of a Popular Mechanics magazine from the 60s!

This is really, really nice - the only thing that makes it so it isn't perfect in my eyes is that the very top of his head is cut off. Otherwise, I think it's just right for this challenge - I really like the way you've edited to make the man stand out from the environment yet still show it. I gave you a 9.

My screen looks like there's a bunch of stuff thats' ghosted back a little here. Other than that this is great. 6

You made the light work for you and caught a warm moment in what could be a very boring environment. Well done.

He's gonna miss the errors on that part cause he's looking at the camera, not the part. I think this would be a stronger photo if he were not so clearly "smiling for the camera." Nice composition, lighting, color.

You see too little of the person.

This seems a good example of an environmental portrait. If I have one quibble it would be that the leaning over position of the subject looks rather extreme.

Great shot in every way. Sharp, not overdone in any way, great color tones and right to the point. The background is a litthe diffuse though. 9 from me!

I don't understand why he has great contrast to his face and the rest of the image seems flat? It's very unnatural. the rest of the image is great. (well, the smile is a bit cheesy) :0P but it looks like something I would come across flipping through some i dunno- inverstors brochure about the company?
