The dark sillouhette against the blue sky emphasizes the feeling of alone-ness. I wish the clouds in the bottom weren't there but withoiut spot editing I don't suppose you had much choice. :) Nice work.

Striking image... wonderful colors. I bet you could have fun with this one in Photoshop... changing colors and giving a different interpretation.
