So that's where they go to die, in a large field! (or so it seems). This is interesting to me as I've never seen one of these boats other than in full working order on the river. The vegetation at the front (or is that back?) really ages it well, as do the sepia. It's almost like a huge garden ornament, pretty amazing.

This is great. Using the colout toen is excellent choice.

I saw one in color that is a little bit better, but unfortunately pbase is down at the moment. Also means I can't admire your portrait. ;)

(Might be mistaken identity, but I doubt it)

Brilliant subject! However, I dont like those plants on the front. They ruin the 'dead' look. Perhaps more concentrated snap of the eroded sides of the boat filling the frame to give a more desolated feel.

This looks like an awesome picture taking opportunity. You took advantage of it and have presented it well. Good job. 7

nice shot, the colour is putting me off a bit though. I think it detracts from the image as a whole.

I can't wait to find out where this was taken. The idea of coming across an abandoned paddle steamer in a clearing is just beautiful. I love that there are still things like this to be found in this day and age.

One of my 5 tens for the challenge. Lovely sepia toning, it kind of takes me back about 80 years :-)

Interesting subject, good use of light and contrast. I like the angle it was taken at with the focus being on the plants nearest the camera.
