Nice take on the challenge. I like old churches. Too bad about the sky. I would try and expose just for that and then recompose the shot once you've locked exposure.

Nice tones' good grayscale; Don't be afraid to go really black in spots. I love your perspective; still holy? maybe even holier now.

Image is overexposed and the sky is not helping the photo at all. The church looks like it has lots of good detail and textures, maybe a closer view of it without the sky would be better.

very nice contrast, but why not to have to have shot a little bit on the left ?

The sky is so blown out that it's actually impinging on the sides of the tower. I'm not crazy about the angle, and it looks like one of the pinnacles on the tower might be cut off just a teensy bit? I would try to take this photo again earlier in the day when the light isn't so harsh, allow more space at the top of the frame, and maybe try to emphasis less the entire building and more some of the more interesting architectural details, like the texture of the brickwork, the height of the tower, the shape of the doors and windows, etc.

Works for me. This looks good in black and white. Gives it an 'old' feel.

My first impression is that this may have worked better in color, but just a guess. I like the angle you captured and the far steeple. Clarity is nice, sky seems a little blown out, but it works. Nice photo.

The blown sky really works well with the look and toning of the church. It's very retro and abandoned looking.
