| Looking at your model, I can't repress the feeling of wanting to tell the guy "do you need any help?", it is so strong the desolation in his eyes look and the visual support for that emotion from his forehead and the balance of the composition with the cigarrette, that I immediately go to vote 10 for the very first time, despite the fact that I appreciate color very much and normally B&W pictures get a -1 vote from me, but this time I am not sure that color would add something. Congrats, I am sure this is an award. |

What an expressive face... that forehead is just great for shape and shadow. Like the way the ciggie gives a diagonal and counter point to the eyes. Lighting isn't superb but doesn't spoil it too much. Excellent portrait. Is it someone you know or a stranger?

| Human faces are my favorite to photgraph by far. The face tells a stroy of life time experiences and I love to try and capture this...good job! |

| Unfortunately, this guy looks quite cool really though a bit sad. It really needs some context to show why he may be desolate. A very good study with good lighting and tones. Focus could have been a touch sharper. |
