Thanks to those who voted and commented on the post. This was my first post here. I wish I had moved the shopping cart toward the camera a little more to expose some of the tarmac above it. I'm not from Philly, we do call them "shopping carts" in Texas. The name was a play off of "Dune Buggy". Anything with four wheels and sides is accepted as a "buggy" around here. The shot looked more dreary in B&W than in color. Thanks again and I hope to learn alot from some of the obviously talented people who frequent this site. |

This picture gives me the most feeling of desolation of all the photos. Little bit nicer if it was not so bright, but the composition is beautiful. |

the light tones and open space would be more effective in this if the shopping cart was positioned lower versus being lost in the trees up top. |

The wet spot in front of the cart makes the cart look like it is suspended in air. Great optical illusion. |

The impact trolley is lost somewhat in this image, especially towards it's top edge. I wonder if a closer study of the trolley surrounded only by bleak tarmac, no buildings or sky or anything, would have more impact? |

the dry looking trees seem to be standing watch over the dead cart |

You're not from Pittsburgh, by chance...? I always thought that calling a shopping cart a "buggy" was a Western PA thing. |
