| i guess if i called it lonely ROAD, maybe it would mean something more literal, but it was 'roads'.. oh well ; ) |

I'd say in some contexts roads are paths travelled but the title didn't seem to have that loose kind of feel to it to suggest it.
Perhaps the title could have been something like "The Road Less Travelled" which would be a rip off I know but...

"roads" are places you go. they don't necessarily mean a picture of the freakin' asphalt. sheesh. next time i'll call my picture "crimson sun over hill and telephone pole which is sticking up from a ROAD" ;) ..
and yes, the colors are real - this shot is not post-processed. it looks like that because of the smoke from montana forest fires. |

| Very evocative shot. Makes me feel desolate, but I'm not entirely sure why because this is a tranquil scene really. I would have adjusted height of angle to avoid the clash of horizon with the outcrop from the pole. Image is a tad noisy. [7] |

| looks like a minimalist painting. given the title, would like to see some hint of the roads. then again maybe it is there, but hard to see. emphasis seems more on the sun than anything else. very cool sun, was it really that pink? |

The road in the title seems to be out of sight?
Nonetheless a lovely shot, simple, nice colours and composition and i like the grain.
