Curious how filthy the hands and head are, but how clean the coat is?

Maybe a white t-shirt and bare arms/shoulders with mud all over might have worked better for me? More savage.

You and I have similar titles but very different takes :)

I like the gritty feel and expression -- A tighter crop on just the face (and less of the tree) would remind me more of a movie poster-type shot.

10 for commitment of your model to the cause...! I am not totally sure about the lighting - maybe a bit too much on the bottom of the log (thid might benefit from a bit of dodging and burning to ramp up the contrast and drama)
