| This just has to be one of you Icelandic gang, doesn't it? great work - especially to include that little clump of flowers to contrast the rest of it. I like alsi the fact that it's full colour - way too easy to go black and white for this challenge it seems. Whilst the light is excellent, the bulle sky lets things down a bit - just a touch too pleasant really, and you already have the flowers to add an edge. On a grey day ... |

| Fabulous! Definately desolate. You gave us so much to look at in this shot that you could have chosen to leave out such as the rocks & flowers and the snow and I'm so happy you included them. You have a wonderful eye for composition. You were very lucky with the sky, I think. 10 |

| Great landscape and good quality image. The rock put too much weight to the photo though. I wonder what woud it be like if you cut the rock out, make it more landscape and show more of blue sky. |

| I think the landscape is too nice !! :), it makes you feel "oh, wonderful!", more than desolation. Nice picture anyway |

| The subject matter isn't bad, but the color feels dull and the picture lacks depth. Try shooting this closer to the ground and looking up into the barren hills (perhaps aimed more to the right) |
