 waiting for a firewirk that never happened this year.. the river is the Danube, the big wheel belongs to an event that happens twice a year here in Linz;
I didnt use a tripod for this shot yet; afterwards I tried with lower iso, longer exposure time and tripod but the waves were getting much too flat and blurred.
was my first attempt for night-pictures with my new D50.
this is my first submission here at dpchallenge, I am looking forward for your critiques :)

The use of wide angle doesn't do the picture justice IMHO.

nice effetc but the coast line is too far away for me
